Data
This project encompasses a series of animations that visually represent data concerning the decline of two specific species: the monarch butterfly along the Western Coast of North America and the severely diminished population of the rusty patched bumblebee. Each data set has been analyzed and represented with great precision; for instance, the monarch butterfly population is depicted as having only 28,625 pixels remaining, which constitutes just 24% of its original numbers. The animations aim to draw attention to the critical issues facing these species while accurately illustrating the severity of their decline through minimalistic and direct graphics. Accompanying posters further emphasize the challenges these animals encounter, enhancing public awareness of their plight.
